Iam Coulter began her professional career as an actor. In 2004, with a new-found passion for directing and Shakespeare, she accepted the position of Artistic Director for The Shakespeare Company, taking on the challenge of reinvigorating interest in the struggling company. Her efforts have been rewarded with audience growth, critical success, and overwhelming community support.
Selected directing credits include As You Like it, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Henry VI Part iii, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, and The Taming of the Shrew.
